Celebrating the 80th anniversary of the D-Day operations from Tarrant Rushton
On the 5th June 1944 at around 10:30 the first gliders carrying airborne forces were towed into the Dorset skies. Operation Coup de Main was underway, one of the very first in the huge D-Day landings that would eventually lead to the liberation of Europe and an end to the Second World War. Join us on June 1st to commemorate an celebrate the brave men and women who took part.
